A consultation comes before most appointments. New clients can reserve a 15-minute consultation, which can be held face to face or over the phone. Color and hair installation work calls for a 30-minute consultation done at the salon. Color consultations cost nothing and run 15 minutes. Because density and length affect what a color job costs, that price is set only once the consultation is done. Every service is booked separately, one at a time.

A few house rules help the small space work well: children and extra guests are not allowed unless they are also getting a service, and clients are asked to bring as few bags and personal items as possible.
