Salon AM is a hair extension studio in Gainesville, Virginia. The salon describes itself as the city's premier extension studio. It works only with Hair Lingerie extensions, and each set is customized with color matched to blend with the client's own hair.

Every visit starts with a free 30-minute consultation, where the stylist evaluates hair texture, density and the client's goals. The extension method is then chosen based on the client's hair and daily life. A deposit secures the installation appointment, and it becomes non-refundable once the hair has been custom-colored and prepared.

The range includes tape-in extensions, which are lightweight with a blended, natural finish and are recommended for maintenance every five to eight weeks. Weft extensions suit clients with naturally thicker hair who want added length or fullness, with maintenance every eight to ten weeks. Clip-in extensions, made from the same hair as the tape-in and weft work, give volume or length as needed, including for special events. Ktips extensions and a three-pack move-up with root color are also offered. Extensions typically last six to eighteen months, depending on the hair selected and at-home care.
