Sage Skin Spa

Sage Skin Spa was founded by Sarah and Suzanne. The spa describes itself as intentionally small, with visits built around each guest instead of rushed or identical treatments. The team works from a suite in Cordova and serves clients across the surrounding Memphis-area communities listed on the site.

Each facial begins with a skin assessment, and the treatment is adjusted to the client's skin type, its current state and what they want from the session. According to the spa, facials can target dryness, breakouts and clogged pores, uneven tone, reactive or flushed skin, early lines and a lack of radiance. Depending on what the skin needs, a session might include analysis, cleansing and exfoliation, steam with extractions, a custom mask, hydrating treatments and facial massage. Eminence Organic Skincare is the line used during facials.

Body treatments include a 50-minute Sugar Scrub, listed at $80 on the booking site, and three 60-minute treatments listed at $105 each on the booking site: a Cellulite Body Treatment meant to reduce the appearance of cellulite and improve skin texture, a Detox Treatment that uses Eminence Organic Skin Care products, and a Slimming Body Treatment aimed at skin tone and contour. Massage is offered as therapeutic or relaxation work, and each session begins with a conversation about focus areas, with pressure adjusted to preference. Spray tans are sunless and matched to skin tone and the depth of color the guest wants.

Hair removal is offered through sugaring, which the spa describes as a natural method that is gentle on the skin and suited to sensitive areas, and through hard waxing, which it describes as a quick way to get smooth results on several areas of the body. Personalized brow shaping starts with an assessment of natural brow shape, facial structure and preferences, and brow work covers shaping, maintenance and refinement. Lash services are offered alongside brows. Gift cards can be purchased for any service. The site lists hours from Tuesday through Saturday, and cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice; late cancellations and no-shows are charged a $30 fee to the card on file.
