Sacred Skin Alchemy is a somatic, sculptural facial studio run by Paige Cano in Long Beach. Its sessions work with the muscles of the face, the fascia, the lymphatic system and the nervous system, not only the skin. Treatments bring in the neck, shoulders, scalp, jaw and décolleté, since tension can be felt across those areas. Breathwork and energy work sit alongside botanical skincare.

The studio calls itself an inclusive, gender-affirming practice built on respect, consent and trauma-informed care. Its treatments are offered as a slower and more deliberate option than a conventional facial. The signature approach, the Sacred Skin Alchemy Method, is somatic facial work that addresses more than the skin itself. Every session opens with a discussion of the client's skin, any areas of tension, and whatever the client would like the practitioner to know.

Clients are asked to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. Payment is due at the time of service, and major credit and debit cards, Zelle and Apple Pay are accepted. Tips are welcome but not expected. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee. Clients undress to their own comfort level, are always draped and can opt out of any step. Conversation is welcome but not required, and in cooler seasons the treatment bed is warmed, with bolsters and blankets offered.

The studio suggests a session every 6 to 8 weeks for maintenance, or every 4 to 6 weeks when tension or puffiness persists. Beyond the studio, it offers virtual sessions, workshops, spa parties, brand collaborations, practitioner education and limited residencies in Mexico City.

Each session is shaped around the client on the day rather than a fixed sequence, with pressure added gradually and the work combining botanical skincare, breathwork and optional intraoral techniques.

Sessions can be quiet, or accompanied by soft music or a client's own playlist on request.
