Rumi OC Hair was created by its founder as a private space for their own work. The studio is meant to feel calm and relaxed, and the studio says its aim is to give clients the best experience it can.

The work centers on low-maintenance, sun-kissed, lived-in hair. Color services include balayage and foilyage, highlights, babylights, lowlights and root melts, with gloss and root melt included in some of the longer balayage and foilyage services. A 15-minute consultation is offered at no charge before booking a service.

Bookings are made through the studio's booking page. A $50 cancellation fee applies to cancellations made within 24 hours of an appointment, and a $50 late fee also applies. The studio is closed on Mondays and Sundays, open Tuesday and Thursday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, open Wednesday from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm, and open Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
