Ruby Lash

Ruby Lash is based in Millcreek and focuses on lash extensions, lash lifts and brow lamination. New clients can book a free 20-minute consultation, in person or online, to talk through the look they want and pick a service.

Extension options include the Classic Set ($225, up to 2 hours), which places one faux mink extension on each natural lash and covers about 90% of them; the Hybrid Set ($255, up to 2.5 hours), a blend of Volume and Classic techniques covering about 90% of lashes; and the Volume Set ($285, up to 3 hours), which adds 2 to 10 fine extensions to each natural lash in a fan, with every fan handmade. Extensions are attached to the natural lashes rather than the skin and generally last one natural lash cycle, which is between 21 and 90 days. Clients are advised to return every 2 to 3.5 weeks for a fill. Fill options are a 1 Hour Fill ($95) for existing clients within two weeks of their last visit, a 90 Minute Fill ($125) for regular clients returning every 2 to 3 weeks and not open to new clients, and a 2 Hour Fill ($165) for existing clients who have gone over three weeks or want fuller lashes. New clients who already have extensions on can book a New Client Fill ($155, up to 1 hour and 45 minutes). Clients with only a few lashes left from another artist's work should book a full set rather than a fill.

Lash lift and tint is $135 and takes up to 90 minutes, including a lash perm and a tint, with results lasting about six weeks. Brow lamination is $95 and takes up to an hour, including tinting and shaping such as waxing, plucking or trimming. The Lash & Brow Combo ($195, up to 1 hour and 45 minutes) pairs a lash lift and tint with a brow lamination and costs $20 less than booking the two separately. Lash lifts are not offered to clients with recent eye surgery, an eye infection or stye, or extensions currently on; extensions can be removed and a lift booked about seven days later. Brow lamination is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for psoriasis, eczema or alopecia around the brows, with pink eye, after recent permanent makeup, or with sunburn or open wounds near the brows.

Clients are asked to arrive on time with clean, makeup-free eyes, lashes and brows; late arrivals are charged the full service price even if the service is shortened. Changes made at least 48 hours ahead are free, changes inside 48 hours are charged 50% of the service, and same-day cancellations or no-shows are charged in full. One last-minute cancellation or reschedule is allowed for illness or a family emergency. Refunds are not given on services or products, but concerns can be raised within 72 hours of an appointment, and a complimentary 30-minute touch-up may be offered when the issue comes from application or product. Children under 12 may not accompany an adult during a service, and pets other than service animals are not allowed in the lounge under State Health Board rules.
