Royal Skin Care

Royal Skin Care runs three facial studios: one in San Diego at Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, one in La Jolla on Regents Park Row, and one in Solana Beach on Loma Santa Fe Drive. The San Diego studio is open 10am to 7pm every day, while the La Jolla and Solana Beach studios open at 11am and close at 9pm.

The salon combines traditional European skin care with modern technology. It says its treatments follow original European protocols and are built around results. Treatments use LED therapy, electric muscle stimulation and high frequency devices, and services are grouped by concern: acne, anti-aging, sensitive skin and skin health.

The salon also offers Royal Memberships, a monthly membership program.

Retail products come from GlyMed+, Le Mieux and Circadia, selected by the estheticians. The salon says its products are organic cosmetic formulas, mostly built from natural ingredients, and free from binders, thickeners, fillers, sulfates and parabens. Its cosmetic products are not tested on animals, and the salon takes part in PETA's Beauty Without Bunnies Program.

Booking rules are strict. Appointments can be changed or cancelled up to 24 hours before the treatment time, and changes inside that window are not possible. Arriving more than 10 minutes late counts as a no-show or late cancellation and carries a fee of 50% of the booked service cost. Service payments are non-refundable, and gift cards are final sale and can only be redeemed for services. Unopened retail products returned within 7 days of purchase at a physical location can be exchanged for store credit.
