Royal Cut

Royal Cut has served West Seattle since 2000, when its founder and family opened the salon with savings and a goal of offering quality hair services at prices the neighborhood could afford. The shop sits just off Highland Park Way SW and is a few minutes from White Center, Delridge, Westwood Village and South Park.

Services cover men's haircuts, including fades, tapers and classic cuts; women's cuts and styles; boys' and girls' haircuts, which the salon lists as a specialty; and custom hair color. The salon says it offers some of the most affordable haircuts in West Seattle, and reports 4.5 stars on Google from more than 100 reviews.

A visit is easy to fit in. Most haircuts take about twenty minutes, walk-ins are welcome, and clients can call ahead to book a set time. Parking is free right outside the shop, and cash and cards are accepted. Hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 7pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm.

Custom color is priced after a consultation. Shade names the salon lists include espresso, copper, honey, auburn, platinum and raven. The salon noted its starting prices in July 2026 and asks clients to call to confirm the current menu.
