The main shop is in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Houston and the Tampa Bay Area also have locations, but those are open only to clients booking Fanta Loc, Micro Loc or Micro Braid services, and those bookings carry an additional non-refundable $250 travel fee. The full address is sent in the booking confirmation email and in appointment reminders.

Consultations are required before any Fanta Loc, Micro Loc or Micro Braid install and for clients transferring their hair in from elsewhere. During the consultation, the client and the studio decide which location suits the client best. Consultation fees do not count toward the service price. Atlanta clients use the online booking site for all appointment types, while Houston and Tampa Bay Area availability is for Fanta Loc clients only.

Installs can run longer than one day. The client books the first day and pays one deposit, and the studio adds any additional days manually. Because installs are long, a lunch break is offered during them. Courtesy drinks and refreshments are offered at all appointments at the Atlanta location. The studio does not rush appointments and asks clients to book on days free of other obligations. Extra people who are not being serviced, including children, are not permitted in the appointment.

The studio photographs and films its work. Clients who would rather not appear in that content can ask for hair-only shots. Clients who are unwell are asked to reschedule. If a requested time is not showing as open, clients can still ask for it, and the studio will try to fit them in where it is able.

Appointments begin with a consultation for installs and transfers, so the location, extension color and timing are settled before the work starts.
