The studio began in 2010, when founder Rose Alcantra started seeing Brazilian friends at her home, as she had done in Brazil. As the home space became too small, she opened a studio that also serves clients referred by friends.

Attendants speak English, Portuguese and Spanish. Passion for people is central to the work, and the studio wants clients to feel welcome and cared for during every visit.

Nail services run from a regular manicure at $25 and a spa pedicure at $140 to extensions starting at $100 and fiberglass starting at $120. Hair services include women's cuts at $60, men's cuts at $45, color, Botox and Brazilian keratin treatments, with blow dries starting at $40. Skincare ranges from a $90 mini facial to PRP treatment at $300 and plasma treatment starting at $350. Eyebrow and eyelash work, waxing for face, body and intimate areas, and body treatments for cellulite and fat reduction round out the menu. Microblading, highlights and nail design are priced after a consultation with the technician.
