Vivid work includes color melt, ombre, bubble, rainbow, prism, shine line, ghost roots and hidden color, while blonding covers traditional foil highlights, teasylights, money piece face-framing highlights and balayage.

Vivid color is mostly semi-permanent direct dye that fades over several months and can be removed with specialized products if needed. It usually does not lift hair on its own, so lightener is often used first for truer tones. A total vivid transformation can take six or seven hours, while an accent piece may take about 90 minutes.

Extensions are offered through DreamCatchers, including installation, weft move-ups and removal, and an extension consultation is required before any new installation. Keratin treatments and perms are also available, and chemical services require signing a Chemical Service Waiver of Liability form. Restorative treatments such as deep conditioning, K18 and Olaplex Pro System can be added to many services.

The salon offers sensory accommodations for neurodivergent clients, including weighted capes, playlist choice, lights on or off, aromas added or minimized, products or no products, and a shampoo or dry cut. It affirms the LGBTQIA2S+ community and welcomes gender-affirming and gender-free styles. Clients can also ask for a one-on-one appointment with no other clients in the salon.

Parking is on the South Yosemite side of the building, and clients enter through the center glass door by the concrete picnic tables. The building has no elevator. Free WiFi, comfortable waiting areas and a self-serve snack and beverage bar are available. A senior toy poodle is often at the salon, and clients can text the salon to ask that the dog not be present during their appointment.

Every appointment starts with a consultation with the stylist, and prices are based on that conversation along with the products and time required. The salon says its colorists aim to deliver consistent, expert-level color results for every client.
