Rooted with Tina is a loft-based hair studio in Sterling, run by Tina, who also does the styling. The studio opened in 2021 in the Salon Lofts II space in Cascades Overlook, across the street from Choolah.

The studio was built around self-empowerment, with the aim of encouraging clients to take a chance on themselves. The space is meant to feel intimate and calm, with an encouraging, community-minded atmosphere.

Services fall into three groups: hair (haircuts, blowdry and styling, and special occasion styling), color (spotlights, single process color, and partial or full highlights and balayage), and grooming (mustache and beard trims). Prices may rise when hair needs are customized. New clients book by calling, texting or emailing, and the studio applies a 24-hour cancellation policy with a full charge.

Tina brings more than 26 years in the hair industry, including 18 years as co-founder and partner of Maude Salon. She opened her own studio in 2021 to build a simpler work-life balance. The studio keeps limited hours, open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, plus select Thursdays and Saturdays, and is closed Sunday and Monday. It also sells HairStory, Kevin Murphy and Redken products along with a range of boutique items.

The studio is built around self-empowerment and encouraging clients to take a chance on themselves.
