Rooted Counseling & Wellness

Rooted describes itself as a collective of providers and aims to offer a safe, open, and collaborative space for mental health care. The practice is open Monday through Saturday, by appointment only, and sees clients in person in Richardson or virtually anywhere in Texas.

The team works with individuals and families on depression, anxiety, life transitions, neurodiversity, postpartum concerns, relationships, and recovery from complex trauma. Individual therapy sessions focus on working through feelings, building insight, and developing coping strategies. The practice states that each provider is highly trained in their specialty.

Beyond individual therapy, the practice offers EMDR therapy, which it describes as a research-based approach with evidence for anxiety, depression, chronic pain, OCD, grief and loss. It also offers the Safe and Sound Protocol, a sound-based listening therapy that the practice says is designed to help balance the autonomic nervous system. Supervision is available for those seeking LPC licensure after graduation.
