The studio is run by Cherie, who has worked with locs since 2014 and was previously a certified Sisterlocks consultant. She launched SOLO Locs, her own customized locking system, in 2024, and it is offered alongside Sisterlocks.

Every locking plan begins with a consultation, where the full process is explained and the plan is agreed before any work starts. The grid parting pattern and loc size are chosen for each client's hair.

Locking packages include the initial session and follow-up care. Sisterlocks includes a precision grid and sizing, an establishment session, a three-week follow-up and a starter kit, with an estimated 14 to 24 hours of work. SOLO Locs packages take an estimated 6 to 14 hours depending on the method, and include personalized consultation, starter care guidance and a starter kit.

Beyond locs, the studio offers Rockin' Styles such as lock twists, braids, cornrows, roller sets, rod sets, loop sets and custom style requests. It also runs a hands-on natural hair care workshop for biological, foster or adoptive parents of African American or biracial children, with 6 to 8 participants and a practice mannequin head for each.

Individually planned locking that starts with a consultation, supported by aftercare guidance and a starter kit.
