The owner opened the shop after years of work in hairstyling in the Northland area of Kansas City, where most of his nearly four decades in the trade were spent. The business is built around a short, focused menu of cuts and grooming rather than a broad service list.
Visits are by appointment only, and bookings are made online through a Square booking page. Adult cuts, kids' cuts, senior cuts, and buzz cuts are each listed at about 30 minutes when booked online. Parking is available in the driveway, and the shop accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
The shop does not do flat top haircuts, and it does not use straight razors, since Missouri law does not allow cosmetologists to use them on clients. The owner has noted that using one could put his license at risk.
