Lock establishments are priced by length, density, curl type and head size. A Sisterlocks establishment costs $1,000 for the first 3 inches and about $200 per inch after that, and includes the consultation, an establishment of roughly 2 days, and a follow-up retightening 3 to 4 weeks later. An Interlock establishment costs $800 for the first 3 inches and about $150 per inch, and includes the consultation and an establishment of roughly 1 day. Sisterlocks requires at least 1.5 inches of natural hair to begin. A typical 3-inch Sisterlocks establishment takes under 10 hours. The $50 consultation is deducted from the Sisterlocks establishment fee, and a $250 non-refundable security deposit reserves two days and is also deducted from the fee.

Retightenings are priced by time: $120 for one hour, $140 for 1.5 hours, and $160 for two hours with Kristen, then $15 per 15 minutes. With 4 to 8 weeks of new growth, most retightenings take about two hours. Sisterlocks clients are advised to retighten no sooner than every 3 weeks and no later than 4 to 8 weeks, while Interlocks clients can wait longer. Booking two weeks ahead is recommended. A Sisterlocks transfer consultation is available for $30, and a retightening class runs 2.5 to 3 hours for $300.

Visits are by appointment. Services are prepaid, and the business accepts cash, debit, credit and Zelle, with card and Cash App payments carrying a 2.85% processing fee per $100. Hair should be washed within 24 hours of an appointment. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice, and appointments 30 or more minutes late may be treated as no-shows. Children aged 4 to 11 are welcome, but other visitors are not allowed during services. The business also offers mentoring for trainees and consultants and a $20 referral credit toward a retightening.
