The school trains students for careers in esthetics, nail technology and lash technology. Its main offering is a 600-hour esthetics program, alongside a 100-hour nail technology program and a 50-hour lash technology program. The campus sits at 6 Winter Avenue in Deep River, off Route 9, inside the U.S. headquarters of LCN USA.
The esthetics program covers facial treatments, facial massage, the use of facial machines, hair removal, makeup and more advanced skin care topics. It also includes study of chemistry, anatomy and biology, the history and theory of the field, and management of a skin care business, including retailing products and services. It finishes with a clinic practice. The nail program covers manicures, pedicures, hand and arm massage, and techniques such as tips and nail art, along with business practices and retail. The lash program covers lash extensions, lash lifts and lash tinting, with 20 hours of theory and 30 hours of supervised practical work on the clinic floor.
Students in the hybrid format complete part of the theory remotely through an online platform on a school-issued Chromebook, then attend in person for hands-on work with products and tools. The esthetics program can be taken full-time, part-time during the day or part-time in the evening, over 20 to 44 weeks. The school says it offers continuing education to graduates.
Training happens in dedicated rooms. The nail room is about 800 square feet with six manicure and six pedicure stations, a hygiene station and a theory area with a large monitor. The esthetics room is about 520 square feet with six treatment beds and chairs, a hygiene station and a theory area. The campus is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking, entrances and restrooms, and parking is free.
Admission requires a completed application, English language proficiency, and an in-person tour and interview with administrators. Totals are as stated by the school.
