Ritual Skin Lounge

Ritual Skin Lounge was started by founder Katie Latorre out of a commitment to skin health and the view that every person's skin is different. The studio is in Suite 125 at Phenix Salon Suites in Oviedo and serves clients from Oviedo, Winter Springs, Lake Mary, Winter Park and greater Orlando.

Visits usually begin with a consultation. A Comprehensive Consultation is a one-on-one session that looks at skin, lashes and brows and suggests a treatment plan. Skin Discovery is an in-clinic skin analysis that comes with a personalized plan and product recommendations, starting at $75, and a Virtual Skin Discovery offers a remote version of the same assessment for $75 over 60 minutes. Deposits for either can be applied to a product bought the same day. Custom facials also begin with a skin analysis, and each one is adjusted to the client's skin type, concerns and goals, with the esthetician choosing from options such as oxygen infusion, chemical peels, LED light therapy, lymphatic drainage and customized masks.

The studio's best-known service is the HydraFacial, which uses patented Vortex-Fusion technology to cleanse, extract and hydrate the skin in a single multi-step session. It is offered in three formats: a 30-minute Express HydraFacial at $200, a 60-minute Deluxe HydraFacial Experience starting at $250 with a booster serum chosen for the client's concerns and LED light therapy, and a Platinum HydraFacial Experience starting at $300 that adds lymphatic drainage and customized exfoliation, with four levels each of mechanical and chemical exfoliation. Dermaplaning and jelly masks can be added to the Deluxe and Platinum versions. The salon recommends a HydraFacial every four to six weeks. The studio also offers a 30-minute Express Facial at $99 and stand-alone dermaplaning of about 45 minutes.

The brow and lash menu covers brow waxing, brow lamination, brow shaping and brow tinting. Brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment that sets the direction of brow hairs and suits sparse, unruly or differently growing brows, and it includes shaping and a precision wax to clean up the edges; results last up to six weeks. The Sculpted Brow Ritual ($100, 60 minutes) combines lamination and a precision wax, and the Polished Brow Ritual ($120, 75 minutes) adds a customized tint. Brow Wax + Tint is a 30-minute service at $50. The Korean Lash Lift & Tint is priced at $85 for 45 minutes and lifts natural lashes from the root with a tint, without extensions; results last six to eight weeks.

Booking is available online, by phone or by text. The studio recommends booking two to four weeks ahead, especially for HydraFacials and lash lifts, and a deposit or credit card is required to hold an appointment. Members get priority access to the most in-demand slots. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice, and clients can reschedule with the same notice without penalty. Clients are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for paperwork and get a 15-minute grace period for lateness. Buy Now, Pay Later financing is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Open Tuesday 9 am to 1 pm, Thursday and Friday 10 am to 7 pm, and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm; closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday.
