Rina trained at Blaine Beauty School, graduating in 2001, and has worked as a licensed esthetician for more than 25 years. Brows and Brazilian waxing are her main specialties. Teens coming in for a first brow shaping are a regular part of the practice, and that work is kept minimal.

Services are grouped into brows, waxing and combo packages. A new client brow shaping includes a consultation and takes about 30 minutes, and brow shaping with wax and tweezing takes the same time. Waxing ranges from a quick lip wax to a full Brazilian, which is offered either as a full Brazilian for female clients or as a modified thin bikini. Combo packages bundle waxing areas with brows, and lip and chin can be added to some of them for an extra fee. Prices for some services begin at a stated amount, and the full list is on the booking page.

Booking policies are stated plainly. Cancellations made within 24 hours are charged the full service fee, and no-show appointments are charged the service fee. Clients who arrive sick are not taken for their service and are asked to text or call to reschedule. Clients who arrive too late for their appointment are not taken for their service.

According to the salon, Rina won Best of Boston in 2010 for Brazilian waxing, per Boston Magazine. The studio's portfolio also lists a waxing award from Boston's Best 2016 in Improper Bostonian, a 2007 feature in InStyle Magazine and a 2021 feature in the Chronicle about Rina's Studio.
