Ricca Donna Orange

Von Mai founded Ricca Donna after training at salons in London, New York and other international cities, and later opened the business in Orange County. The salon says its team brings more than 45 years of experience in cosmetology, color and styling.

The Brea location is the primary studio, set near Imperial Hwy in a busy shopping center with ample parking. The open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, iron chandeliers and large windows give the space a bright, airy feel, and the studio offers 24-hour access for full-time renters.

Booth rental at Brea is priced by schedule. Day-to-day booths cost $75 per day Tuesday through Thursday and $100 per day Friday and Saturday, part-time (three days a week) is $160 per week, and full-time (seven days with 24-hour access) is $250 per week. Booth renters get community, mentorship and natural light, a free week after three months, a bonus week at six months, and ongoing rewards through a loyalty program. Booth inquiries go directly to Von Mai, who says she usually replies within 24 hours.

The Orange location, at 206 W Almond Ave, handles full-service salon work and nail care for clients.

The salon states that great hair comes from great craft, and its focus is on skilled work from its stylists.
