Haircut technique is chosen from the hair's texture and density, its current shape, the client's styling routine and the result they want, whether the hair is straight, wavy, curly or coily. Curly cuts are booked on day two or three hair, as detangled as possible, and clients are asked to arrive with washed, dry hair free of heavy oils, butters or gels.
Braids and faux locs begin with a consultation, which is required before any braid or twist extension service is booked. The stylist supplies all braiding hair, and clients may buy human hair for their appointment with the stylist's guidance. Braid deposits are non-refundable and go toward the service total, and styles must be finalized and deposits paid within 72 hours of booking. Severe tangling can be handled with product-assisted detangling, which starts at $50 for an hour, or a detangling service that starts at $100 and is booked in 2-hour sessions, sometimes over several visits. Clients should arrive with their hair detangled where possible.
Color work starts with a free consultation, which is required for new color, major changes, corrective color, or clients who have not been seen in six months or more. Color deposits range from $50 to $100 and are paid after the consultation, and must be paid within 48 hours or the appointment may be cancelled. Changing the color after the consultation may require a new consultation and an updated quote, and custom product fees may apply.
Bookings carry a 3.5% platform fee, and several payment options are available at checkout, including Buy Now, Pay Later for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000 with approval needed before the appointment. Refunds are not offered for any service. Clients have 24 hours to raise any dissatisfaction with a style, and the salon will redo or fix issues if necessary. The salon is not responsible for a style relaxing because of rain, humidity, moisture such as sweat or steam, incorrect aftercare or maintenance, or heavy physical activity. Cancellations, reschedules within 24 hours and no-shows are charged a 100% fee. Deposits are non-refundable, a deposit can move once to a new appointment if rescheduled at least 24 hours ahead, and rebooking after a cancellation requires a new deposit.
