Rewired Beauty describes itself as a lash extension, waxing and facial studio. It has been in business since 2020 and operates two locations in Vienna, Virginia: one on Gallows Road and one on Howard Avenue.

The studio's main priority is keeping natural lashes healthy and intact while applying customized extensions. Each extension is bonded to one natural lash, one lash or fan at a time. Every visit begins with a one-on-one consultation covering the application process, the lash cycle, aftercare, and the curl, length and fullness wanted. The number of extensions is not counted; it is chosen to create the desired look.

The Classic Full Set, at $200 and about 2 hours, gives a natural look that resembles a fuller mascara effect. The Hybrid Full Set, at $225 and about 2.5 hours, and the Volume Full Set, at $250 and about 3 hours, are also offered. Volume attaches several lightweight extensions to one natural lash for more dimension, suiting sparse lashes, bald spots or a more dramatic look. For thin, sparse or damaged lashes, the studio recommends Volume or a custom blend. Extensions are synthetic faux mink, cruelty free and not real mink, and the studio uses the Xtreme Lashes brand.

Clients who are new to extensions can ask for an allergy test during consultation. The studio applies five extensions per eye with a normal and a sensitive adhesive, then a follow-up visit checks for any reaction. If a reaction occurs, clients can switch to a less strong adhesive, which means touch-ups are needed more often. A first extension appointment takes up to two to three hours. Refills are recommended every two to three weeks and take 60 to 90 minutes. Extensions last through the natural lash growth cycle, typically 60 to 90 days, and can last a month or more with proper care and refills.

For the first 48 hours after extensions go on, keep water, heat and steam away from the lashes. After that, cleanse them every day with a water-based product that contains no oil. Waterproof mascara and oil-based eye products are discouraged. Guests should arrive makeup-free, having showered beforehand and without caffeine. A credit card is needed to secure new bookings. Changes require at least 24 hours' notice; a change made inside that window incurs a 50% fee, and a missed appointment is charged the full amount. New clients booking a touch-up refill need at least half of the extensions on each eye still in place; otherwise the visit is booked as a full set. Children under 12 cannot enter the studio. Guests under 18 must come with an adult. Pets are not allowed, except registered service animals.
