Restored Cosmetics, LLC is a paramedical and cosmetic tattoo business owned and run by its founder, Erika Nicholson. Breast services include 3D nipple areola tattooing for clients after reconstructive breast surgery, color enhancement for natural nipples and areolas with or without prior surgery, and revision work for clients who are unhappy with breast tattooing done elsewhere. The founder has also appeared on the Family Business Radio podcast to discuss paramedical and saline tattooing.

The brow menu covers powder and ombré brows, digital microblading and combination brows. Powder brows place pigment into the epidermis with a tattoo machine and can be soft or bold; the clinic says they suit oily, ruddy, thick or leathery skin, and they can also be used on dry or normal skin. Digital microblading makes hair-like strokes and suits dry and normal skin, while combination brows blend microblading with powder shading for most skin types. The clinic offers only digital microblading, not manual microblading. Every brow service begins with a same-day consultation to choose a style that fits the client's skin type.

Scar camouflage and stretch mark work are multi-visit processes, and results vary from person to person. With ink, a custom color palette is matched to the client's skin and applied with a watercoloring technique. Without ink, skin needling breaks up scar tissue. The clinic lists scars from procedures such as mommy makeovers, tummy tucks, thyroid removal, open heart surgery, facelifts and orthopedic surgery. Inkless stretch mark removal uses skin needling with a tattoo machine and a serum applied during treatment. According to the site, scar and stretch mark revisions average three to five treatments, about four weeks apart.

Non-laser LI-FT saline tattoo lightening uses a hypertonic saline solution that the clinic says contains no chemicals or acids. It is used for emergency tattoo removal, eyebrow tattoo lightening, body tattoo lightening and tattooed freckles. Treatments typically average three to five sessions, about eight weeks apart. Professional teeth whitening uses a carbamide peroxide gel in a pre-filled tray under an LED lamp, followed by a remineralizing gel, with each step about 15 minutes under the lamp. The clinic states that teeth can brighten by up to 10 shades in under an hour.

Booking and visit details: a non-refundable booking fee applies to all procedures and goes toward the treatment. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours notice, or the fee is forfeited. Cosmetic tattooing is for clients 18 and older. Clients are asked to avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for 48 hours beforehand, alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours, and sun or tanning beds for 14 days before and after a cosmetic tattoo. Brows should not be threaded, waxed or plucked for at least three days before an eyebrow appointment, and clients must be off Accutane or other acne medications for at least a year. Disposable, single-use needles and supplies are set up fresh for each client. Before and after photos or video are taken, and a follow-up session is scheduled.
