A first visit starts with a consultation that covers a patient's goals and every treatment option that fits them, and the practice says it does not pressure anyone into a procedure. Plans are built around each person's goals and physical characteristics rather than a standard template. For injectable patients, the first visit allows up to 15 to 30 minutes to talk through goals, expectations and risks. Surgical days are scheduled with extra time so the work can be done without rushing. Listed hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Surgical procedures are performed at an accredited outpatient surgery center located within a hospital. A board-certified anesthesiologist administers anesthesia. For body contouring procedures such as tummy tuck and liposuction, the practice typically advises a body mass index below 30. Uncontrolled medical conditions and current smoking may affect whether someone is a suitable candidate. After any incision, recovery generally takes about three weeks before the wound is considered firm. Surgical fees are paid in advance, while injectable treatments are paid on the day of the visit. Accepted payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cashier's checks and money orders. CareCredit can be used, with payment plans of up to 36 months and a revolving line for repeat procedures. It cannot cover surgery in full, and anesthesia services do not currently accept it.

The injectable and skin services are meant to be tailored to each patient. Each BOTOX Cosmetic vial is opened fresh for the patient in the chair, with a 100-unit vial used when two or more patients are booked within 24 hours. Treatment areas are iced first and injections are given with a very fine needle. Filler appointments use dental blocks, with ice and epinephrine to narrow blood vessels. Patients are asked to stop NSAIDs such as aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen seven to ten days before a filler. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if a result is unwanted. A typical BOTOX Cosmetic visit with Dr. Perez takes about 20 minutes.

Treatment plans are shaped around each patient's goals and physical features, and the practice measures success by results and satisfaction. It will say so when a patient is not an ideal candidate.
