RENEWMassage Studio & Spa opened in 2013 on High Street in Ipswich. Its owner, Heather Prentiss, had worked 15 years in the spa business before starting her own studio, and she built it as a place to rest and recover. She has since returned to school to train as an esthetician and keeps updating her education so the menu reflects current treatments.

The studio offers a wide range of services under one roof: several types of massage, including prenatal, hot stone, cupping and muscle release work; facials and skin treatments such as microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, ultrasonic cleansing and clinical peels; microneedling; manicures, pedicures and children's nail services; waxing; and lash and brow tinting. Injectables are provided by a nurse practitioner who visits monthly. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, suited to a visit with a friend or time alone.

Clients book through the online booking portal or by calling the studio. Saturdays are by appointment only, and the studio is closed on Sundays. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice or the full appointment amount is charged. Packages are offered, and the studio invites visitors to ask about them. Online gift certificates are sold, but they must be presented at the time of service, since they cannot be looked up during the appointment.

According to the studio's press page, it received a 2015 Readers Choice Awards honorable mention for Manicures and Pedicures and was voted first for Manicures and Pedicures in 2019, first for Massage in 2019, and first for Massage/Day Spa and Manicures and Pedicures in 2020.
