Rena J Beauty was founded by Rena, who worked in the beauty industry for years before opening the studio as a private space focused on results-driven nail care. The studio is located at 700 E Campbell Rd, Suite 250, in Richardson, inside City Salon Suites.

Visits are one-on-one and by appointment only, and no additional guests are permitted. Services are reserved for women. Clients choose their services when booking online, since changes cannot be made on the day of the appointment.

The studio offers structured gel manicures, which the business describes as a strengthening overlay that supports natural nail growth while keeping a polished finish; it says the gel can last up to four weeks with proper care. It also offers dry pedicures, including a precision dry pedicure that focuses on cuticle care, callus refinement and polish application, and nail repair. Gift certificates are available.

Booking policies ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations inside 24 hours carry a 50% service charge, and no-call, no-show appointments are charged the full scheduled service. Retainers are non-refundable and hold the reserved time. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may shorten the service, and arriving 15 minutes late requires rescheduling and a new retainer.

Each service is performed with close attention to detail, product quality and longer-term nail health.
