Remedy Nails is a nail salon in Avon, open Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed on Sundays. The menu runs from quick mini manicures for young clients to longer spa pedicures and full sculpture or DesignEx Pro sets.

The salon's manicures and pedicures start with a Signature service that covers shaping, cuticle work and a moisturizing massage. From there clients can add gel polish, sugar scrub, a spa mask and scrub, or a callus treatment. Spa Pedicure 1 runs about an hour and Spa Pedicure 2 about 70 minutes, both with callus work, sugar scrub, a wrap and extended massage. Spa Manicure includes an organic mask, scrub and a short massage, and clients choose between Citrus Cardamom and Geranium Cedarwood scents when booking.

For longer-lasting results, the salon offers Builder Gel, which is applied to the natural nail to add structure and typically lasts two to three weeks before a fill. Sculpture Gel and DesignEx Pro sets, fills and fixes are also available, priced per set or per nail.

Pedicures are done in bowls rather than chairs. The salon says this is more hygienic and uses less water, and the bowls are not fitted with plastic covers. Implements are disinfected and sterilized, and anything that cannot be sterilized is used once only.

Nail art is priced in five tiers from $10 to $50. Appointments can be changed or cancelled without a fee with at least 24 hours' notice; shorter notice incurs a 50% fee, and changes made with under 12 hours' notice are charged in full.

The salon selects products it describes as free of harsh and toxic materials and chooses services based on research into nail and skin health.
