Tirzepatide was FDA approved in May 2022 to treat Type 2 diabetes; it is not FDA approved for weight loss and may be used off-label for that purpose.

Some treatments have specific rules. Fractional laser resurfacing usually requires topical anesthesia and 5 to 8 days of downtime, and it is not recommended for very dark skin. Laser mole removal uses local anesthesia and a scab that falls away, and the area should be kept out of sun for at least six weeks. Titan tightening is not performed during pregnancy or within three months of Accutane use, and its results may take up to six months, often visible after three to five sessions.
