The studio is run by Huber Najera, who has been doing scalp micropigmentation since 2017 and reports more than 1,000 procedures. The business describes him as Utah's original SMP artist and says other shops in the state send their clients to him for correction work.

Scalp micropigmentation is a cosmetic tattoo applied with specialized equipment and scalp pigment, placed more shallowly than a standard tattoo. Every quote begins with a free request: the client sends one photo and answers five questions, and a hairline mockup comes back by text within 24 hours. A phone call follows to talk through whether SMP suits the client, the approach and real pricing, since each quote is built individually.

Work is done in stages. Most clients need two to three sessions about a week apart, each lasting two to four hours, and they see progress after every one. Most people return to work the day after a session, though they are advised to avoid heavy sweating, sun exposure and swimming for about a week afterward. Results usually last four to six years before a touch-up, as the pigment fades gradually.

Payment plans are available, with financing offered through Cherry, and checking financing options does not involve a hard credit check. Prospective clients can ask to speak with a past client, arranged through the artist during the call.

Each hairline is drawn for the client's face, age and skin tone, with pigment blended to suit them, and the work moves forward in stages.
