The hair menu covers gentlemen's haircuts, blow dries and styling, ladies' haircuts, color, bridal styling, color correction, dimensional and vivid color, event styling and extensions. Specialty hair treatments include perms, Brazilian Blowout and keratin straightening. Nail work includes manicures, gel manicures, pedicures, Gel X, and nail art. Skin and body services include custom facials, makeup application, lash and brow tinting, lash extensions, lash lifts and waxing. Prices start at $30 for gentlemen's haircuts, $40 for ladies' haircuts, $78 for hair color, $150 for bridal styling and $260 for Brazilian Blowout or keratin straightening. Color correction, dimensional and vivid work and extensions are priced at consultation.
New guests receive a complimentary consultation with their first visit. Gift certificates are available for all services, and the salon offers a 100% guarantee on all services. Chemical services that take an hour or more require a 50% deposit at booking.
The salon is open Tuesday from 10am to 6pm, Wednesday through Friday from 10am to 7pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Holiday hours are given by phone at 631-472-8228, and the salon can also be reached at RazingHair@verizon.net. Cancellations need 24 hours notice. A late arrival may shorten the appointment so the next guest is not delayed, and repeated no-shows will be charged. The assistant role includes a hair training program lasting 4 to 12 months, and the salon says it maintains a high level of education for staff in business, styles, techniques and product knowledge.
The salon aims to offer innovative, practical, top-quality services and to help every guest feel better about themselves, with a strong emphasis on ongoing staff education.
