Rahima Braids

Rahima Braids offers braided hairstyles at its location on Rice Avenue in Houston. The business is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and clients can reach it by phone or email.

Booking is done ahead of time with a deposit of $31, which is non-refundable and goes toward the final cost of the hairstyle. The rest of the balance is paid on the day of the appointment, in cash or through Zelle. The listed price does not include hair, so clients bring their own Xpression hair.

Before an appointment, hair needs to be washed, blow dried and detangled, with no product or oils applied. It also needs to be at least 4 inches long all over. Small children and extra guests are not allowed at appointments.

The site outlines its cancellation and late policies. A 15-minute grace period applies before a late fee. Arriving 20 minutes late carries a $15 fee if time allows, and otherwise the appointment is canceled. Cancellations made at least 24 hours ahead are not charged, while late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the service price. Appointments may be rescheduled one time, within one month.
