Queen Sugar Studio is a hair removal and skincare studio at 3468 North Davidson Street in Charlotte, in the Colony Shops within the NODA neighborhood. Hair removal is the studio's core offering. Body sugaring covers the face, underarms, arms, chest, stomach, back, legs and bikini area, along with combination packages, and the studio describes it as the gentlest, most natural and longest-lasting removal method. Its paste is made from sugar, water, lemon and gum acacia, with no chemicals or resins, and it is described as hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and suitable for sensitive skin. All body sugaring is done with Alexandria Professional products. Waxing uses a mix of hard and soft wax for Brazilian, bikini and underarm work and soft wax for other areas. Clients are asked to let hair grow for about two weeks before a sugaring visit. Extra areas cannot be added on arrival, so each one must be included in the original booking. The studio does not offer below-the-belt services for men.

Skincare begins with an in-person consultation, which is required for all new skincare clients and can be booked on the same day as a treatment. The consultation assesses skin type and concerns before a plan is set. The Custom Facial is the signature treatment, shaped around each client's plan with products chosen for that plan. Other options include the Hydra Facial, which uses a hydro-oxygen machine with serums and a recovery mask; dermaplaning, which removes the top layer of dead skin and fine hairs; microneedling with sterilized needles to stimulate collagen production, which is non-laser and non-surgical; and chemical peels, ranging from enzyme peels to deeper peels customized to skin goals. Peels are paused when outside temperatures are too hot during summer. Skincare enhancements such as dermaplaning, enzyme, LED light therapy and a cold hammer add-on must be booked with a skincare treatment.

The studio offers Vajacial services for the intimate area, which address ingrown hairs, remove dead skin, smooth bumps along the bikini line and help keep the area hydrated. The Express Relief add-on is available only with a Brazilian or bikini hair removal service. The Sugared Pearl Vajacial combines a Brazilian sugar or wax service with a vajacial treatment. Brow and lash services include waxing, sugaring, eyelash tinting, and brow tint or henna, alone or combined. A non-refundable booking fee is charged for each booking and credited at checkout. It is forfeited on cancellation or no-show and transfers if the appointment is rescheduled. Changes require at least 24 hours notice through the booking system, and no-call or no-show clients are charged the full amount of the booked service to their credit card. Children are not allowed in the studio; a child who must attend goes into the treatment room with the client. Major credit cards, Apple Pay and Cash App are accepted.

Skincare plans start with an in-person consultation to assess skin type and concerns, and treatments are built around that plan.
