Queen of Hearts was founded by Jessica LaBette, who opened the studio inside Sola Salons together with Lauren. The studio has operated since 2023. It was built as a private place where clients can relax, and it describes itself as judgment-free.

Every appointment is one-on-one in a private studio with no waiting room. Jessica welcomes people who are new to waxing as well as clients coming back for regular maintenance. Body waxing is priced by individual area rather than as one full-body service, and face waxing uses a fragrance-free wax suited to sensitive skin.

Booking is done online through GlossGenius or by calling or texting the studio. Services are by appointment only and no membership is needed. Packages are paid in advance and their credits apply automatically at checkout. Student discounts are offered on select services. GlossGenius offers Buy Now, Pay Later for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval before the appointment. A 15% fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment. New Brazilian clients are asked to book the new-client service so there is time to talk through the service and aftercare. The bikini line touch-up is for clean-up only and needs a visit within the last 12 days.

The studio uses Italian hard wax, which grips the hair rather than the skin, for sensitive areas, and European professional warmers that hold wax at a steady temperature. Each body area has its own wax formula. Post-wax care products are sold for clients to take home, and the studio tests them in the studio before sale.

Private, one-on-one appointments in which comfort and skin sensitivity are checked at the start of each visit, using a different wax formula for each body area and products tested before use.
