Queen Isha Braiding & Weaving Salon operates in Dallas and San Antonio. The Dallas salon sits at the corner of Highway 67 and S. Hampton Road, across from the Post Office, and the San Antonio salon is at Camelot Center on Walzem Road at the corner of Midcrown. Both are open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and accept all major credit cards.

Braiding is the core of the business. The menu covers individual, knot and micro braids, invisible braids, mini and tree braids, zig-zag and interlock corn rows, and a range of twist styles including flat, fluffy, gel, kinky, Nubian, Senegalese and Yonne. Cornrow styles include bridal and ponytail versions and scar cornrows, and sew-in weaves come in afro, curly, kinky and cornrow forms. Dreadlocks are offered, with touch-ups for locks, interlocks, invisible and micro braids, and kinky styles. Human and synthetic hair extensions are available, and micro braids can be done with human, pony or synthetic hair joined to natural hair by braiding.

The salon describes braiding as an ancient art that traces back to Egypt around 3500 B.C. It also describes itself as offering the best and quickest braiding at the lowest prices for many years, and states that each stylist specializes in braiding, dreadlocks and extensions. These are the salon's own claims.

Beyond hair, the salons offer facial treatments, where skin needs are considered when choosing a treatment, manicures and pedicures, and massage including back, feet and hand work. Braiding classes are open to beginners as well as experienced stylists. Services are offered for children, men and women.

Appointments can be booked by phone at 214-339-0522. Sunday visits at both salons are by appointment only and can be booked by phone at (210) 650-4900 or (214) 339-0522, or in person at the shop. An online booking form lets clients choose a location, a style and a discount for up to 10 people. Discounts apply only to online bookings, not phone or in-person ones.

Facial treatments are chosen with the client's skin needs in mind, and braiding classes are offered at both beginner and experienced levels.
