The business was founded in January 2007 by Thao Q. Ho, who runs it as QT Beauty, LLC. The salon describes itself as an innovative beauty studio and calls its Nano Brows the most innovative brow enhancement on the market today. The studio says it uses high-quality products and keeps to strict standards for cleanliness.

Permanent makeup clients bring a government-issued photo ID and sign a consent and release form before treatment. A pre-treatment consultation is offered but not required, and it includes a free brow or lip waxing and an optional patch test. Numbing is done with a topical 5% lidocaine, and appointments take about three hours, or about four for lip work. A complimentary touch-up session follows six to twelve weeks after the first appointment. Single-use, sealed disposable items are used, and used tools go into a sharps container.

Nail clients receive disposable files, buffers, and pumice at their first visit, and regular clients can keep a personal toolbox at the studio. Client contact areas are wiped with hospital-grade disinfectant, and a barrier film is applied during procedures. The studio is Bloodborne Pathogens Certified.

Permanent jewelry is custom-fitted and welded closed, so there is no clasp. Pricing is by the inch and depends on material and style, and a re-weld is available for $15. Before-and-after photos are kept for client records and insurance, and are not shared on social media without the client's consent. Clients who previously had cosmetic tattooing are asked to email clear brow photos before booking a correction, and clients coming from another artist are treated as new clients at full price.

The studio says it commits to a safe, sanitary salon and to high industry standards for cleanliness and products. It describes its service as personalized.
