Pure & Bare Skin

Pure & Bare Skin is a sugaring studio at 105 E Oak St, Suite 101, in Downtown Mansfield. Services include Brazilian sugaring and full-body sugaring, and each appointment takes place in a private suite. Tamesha, the owner and sugarist, performs the services.

The studio uses a natural sugar paste made from sugar, lemon and water. It describes sugaring as gentler than traditional waxing and suitable for sensitive skin, and it encourages a consistent schedule of about every 4 to 5 weeks, which it says reduces discomfort and makes appointments quicker. Clients are asked to arrive with clean, product-free skin and hair about 1/4 inch long, roughly 4 to 5 weeks of growth.

Hours run Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The studio is closed on Sundays. Appointments are booked online with a valid phone number and a card on file. Cancellations or rescheduling need at least 48 hours' notice; shorter-notice cancellations, same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the scheduled service. Payment is due at the time of service, with major credit cards and Afterpay accepted on eligible purchases.

Pricing includes a Wednesday Brazilian Sugaring appointment listed at $50, and a Wednesday Brazilian Special offering a Brazilian sugaring appointment for $50 every Wednesday to all clients. Bundles combine services at a lower total cost than booking them separately. Memberships are $55 per month (Membership, with $65 in service value) or $80 per month (VIP Membership, with $100 in service value), with a three-month initial commitment, then monthly renewal until canceled. Cancellation is allowed within two weeks of the next billing date and must be completed before that date to prevent the next charge. Unused membership benefits roll over during the active term, and they are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Members receive a birthday discount, access to Exclusive Member Appreciation Days and an ingrown hair treatment after completing the initial three-month commitment. The About page lists a licensed esthetician among the reasons to choose the studio.
