PUR-ONE MEDISPA was opened to share owner Jackie Carr's skin care expertise. The business describes itself as a medical spa offering Botox and other cosmetic treatments, and it says it takes a holistic view of facial aesthetics and skin health.

A visit usually starts with a free consultation, which is used to learn what a client wants and to decide which procedure fits. Botox is priced by the number of units used per injection site and is discussed at that first meeting. Dermal filler cost depends on the client's goals and is set in a customized plan made at consultation, and a plan can be spread over a couple of months. Payment plans are offered through Cherry, including 0% APR options subject to eligibility; the interest-bearing plans list APRs as low as 5.99% with approvals up to $10,000.

Injectable and filler services include Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin, Juvederm Ultra XC, several Restylane products, the Vycross range of VOLBELLA, VOLLURE and VOLUMA, and Sculptra. Patients are advised to avoid certain anti-inflammatory products and supplements for two weeks before injectables. The practice notes Botox is not recommended for migraine patients who have fewer than 15 headache days a month. Patients report Botox results lasting three to six months, with effects usually showing within five to seven days and sometimes taking two weeks or more.

Skin treatments include SkinMedica Illuminize, Vitalize and Rejuvenize chemical peels, DiamondTome microdermabrasion, SkinPen microneedling (also called collagen induction therapy), dermaplaning, and Hydrafacial. CoolSculpting is offered for fat reduction on the flanks, abdomen, upper arms, thighs, bra and back fat, under the chin and under the buttocks. Microblading, a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo, is done in two initial sessions with a first touch-up about six to eight weeks later.

The business sells and recommends medical grade skin care from several lines, including SkinMedica, DiamondTome, Obagi Nu-Derm, EltaMD, Vivier, Latisse and Revision Skincare.
