Proper Hair

Proper Hair was created as a workspace where each client can have a personal hair session. The owner chose the Serenbe community as the setting for its nature, beauty and relaxed feel, and aims for the salon to feel like an extension of home, somewhere clients can unwind.

A visit is private and calm, with extra time set aside for each client. Services for women, men and kids are offered, along with a complementary category of additional services. Haircuts, color, highlights, blow dries, treatments and extensions are all on the menu, with a range of appointment lengths from a 30-minute treatment to a 180-minute keratin smoothing.

The salon uses products that it describes as premium and good for the environment. According to the website, they are made in Italy using renewable energy, packaged in zero impact bottles and contain all natural ingredients. Bookings are recommended at least one week ahead.

Each client gets a personal session with extra time allotted, in a setting designed to feel private and unhurried. The salon favors products it describes as environmentally considerate.
