Telehealth is available around the clock through the CharmHealth app on a phone, laptop, tablet or desktop computer. Telehealth visits address ear and throat pain, cough, flu-like symptoms, urinary tract symptoms, school and employment physicals, and one-time medication refills, which exclude narcotics such as Dilaudid, morphine, Norco and OxyContin. In-person hours run 10 AM to 10 PM, Monday through Saturday.
The Convenient Care menu covers urinary tract infections, ear infections, removal of foreign objects from the ear, TB skin tests, sports, school and employment physicals, and CME DOT exams. DOT exams can be done onsite, facility-wide, or as in-clinic physicals, and prior paperwork can be brought in for exceptions such as medications and eyeglasses. The practice also offers tobacco cessation support, including nicotine lozenges and patches and a discussion of Chantix if those are not working, and Suboxone opioid treatment with telehealth visits available.
Intravenous services include IV vitamin therapy blends for hangover, weight loss, hair, skin and nails, immunity, migraine and pain, and a Myer's Cocktail, along with B12, glutathione and NAD+ injectables. Infusions are started slowly. First-time infusions are titrated gradually and monitored, and are stopped if side effects occur. IV nutrient therapy is not recommended for people with heart, kidney or liver failure.
Skin and body treatments include CO2Lift Pro carboxy gel facials, which are used across Fitzpatrick skin types I through VI, CO2Lift V for vaginal rejuvenation, and several Aerolase laser services: Neo Elite for laser hair removal, nail fungus and pseudofolliculitis barbae, NeoClear for acne, NeoSkin for rejuvenation, tightening, melasma, hyperpigmentation, rosacea and redness, and a separate melasma treatment. Wound care management for pressure ulcers includes weekly debridement and begins once the primary care doctor sends the face sheet and order. Payment plans through Cherry allow treatments to be paid over time, with 0% APR options subject to eligibility and no hard credit checks.
Medical matters should be discussed through the secure EMR portal or by phone, since standard email and web forms are not encrypted. New telehealth and IV hydration patient packets are available. Street parking is on Iowa Avenue, with two meters at $1.00 per hour and four-hour parking across the street. The meters accept credit cards, and the office can provide quarters for parking, which is added to the service.
Care is nurse practitioner-led and centers on convenient access, with treatments introduced gradually and monitored where the service calls for it.
