The salon says it prioritizes professional-grade, natural and non-toxic products. Denitrika developed the studio's own hair care line, which includes shampoo, conditioner, a curl and twist custard, a braid lotion, oils and a rose hydration mist, and the shop also carries a few accessories and a natural hair workbook.
Visits are booked in advance, since walk-ins are not accepted. A non-refundable deposit of $15 to $25 may be required to hold an appointment and is applied to the service cost. Clients who arrive 10 or more minutes late pay a $15 late fee, and arriving more than 30 minutes late may cancel the appointment. Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and shorter notice may carry a fee. Guests, including children, are not allowed unless they are being serviced. Listed prices are starting prices, and the final cost depends on hair length, density and style complexity.
The studio has complimentary snacks and beverages, including wine, along with WiFi and a TV. An essential oil diffuser is used in the space, and steam treatments are offered.
