Premiere Nail Academy

The academy's mission is to prepare people to become licensed nail professionals and to build careers in the nail industry. The program looks at every side of the field and introduces business practices alongside the hands-on skills.

The full course teaches the fundamentals of all nail services along with the artistic side of the work. Training covers technical skills, product knowledge and time management. Full tuition is $6,500 and includes textbooks, online access and a kit. Students can instead pay weekly at $210 or every two weeks at $420, both over 30 weeks. A $500 seat reservation or down payment holds a spot and covers startup costs. Payments are due on Mondays and can be made by cash, money order or credit card.

Enrollment requires a high school diploma or GED, or completion of the 10th grade with a transcript for applicants 16 or older. Applicants need two valid forms of identification, such as a driver's license, state ID, Social Security card or passport. Students also need access to an electronic device other than a smartphone for assignments. The classroom is fully digital, and assignments can be completed in person or virtually.

The separate APRÈS certification class costs $500 and runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Students who want to add this credential without enrolling in the full course can take it on its own.

The academy takes an education-first approach that pairs technical nail skills with product knowledge, time management and a look at how the industry runs as a business.
