PREET BROWS was founded in 2013 by Preet, who wanted to run a business of her own. She holds a degree in fashion and a degree in beauty. The salon began in Pleasanton and later opened a second location in Livermore.

The menu is built around threading and waxing for face and body, alongside a broad range of facials and facial bleach treatments. Facials are made with herbal products and are provided using lines from Dermalogica, Shahnaz Hussain and VLCC, and the list includes a Hydra Facial. Hair services run from simple cuts and kids cuts to color, henna, blow-dries, scalp massage and hair spa treatments.

Threading is available as a walk-in service, while every other service is booked by appointment. Students receive a discount on threading, waxing and facials. Prices for waxing and hair services vary with hair growth, and several prices are listed as starting amounts. Credit card payments have a $20 minimum.

Facials use herbal products from established skincare lines, and the salon's services are grouped by type so clients can choose a single treatment or a combination.
