Services cover color, highlights, haircuts, smoothing, styling, treatments and bridal work. Highlighting is customized to each client and can be done with foil, balayage, freehand or foilayage, with root shadow, root stretch, gloss and toning added when needed. Color correction and bridal or wedding services are priced after a consultation.
Pura Luxe, an amino acid-based smoothing treatment that reduces or eliminates frizz, is offered as a full or partial service and can be applied only by a Pura Luxe certified stylist. Application takes about 1.5 to 3.5 hours depending on length, density and option. It can be used on sewn-in extensions but not bonded or tape-in ones, and hair previously straightened by another treatment can be treated after consulting the stylist in advance. The salon describes Pura Luxe as a safer alternative to traditional keratin treatments, and according to the brand, results typically last up to six months, though this varies by hair. Virtue Labs Alpha-Keratin 60ku can be added to any service.
Visits are by appointment only, Monday through Saturday, and can be booked online at any hour. Free street parking is available on Avenue F. Fees are charged to the card on file and must be paid before future bookings. Service adjustments are made when requested within seven days of the appointment, and no monetary refunds are given for services rendered. Retail orders can be bought in person, picked up at the salon, delivered within the Austin metro area, or shipped.
