The clinic's approach brings chiropractic care, physical therapy exercise, occupational therapy and myofascial release under one roof, for patients of all ages. Every visit is one-on-one, treatment plans are built for each patient rather than templated, and appointments are scheduled to run on time. Physical therapy visits come with a home rehabilitation plan meant to reduce the number of office visits needed.
Chiropractic adjustments are offered with manual manipulation for joint mobility and pain relief, and as low-force Activator adjustments for patients who prefer no manual cracking or popping. Techniques used include Activator, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Diversified Technique and Thompson Drop Technique. Children are seen once they are old enough to walk and follow simple directions, using low-force methods.
Laser and shockwave services are a large part of the clinic's offering. High-intensity laser therapy, alone or with chiropractic care, uses a 30-watt laser that delivers two wavelengths at once, and the clinic has offered it in the Brownsburg area since 2017 after many years of using a low-level cold laser in Pittsboro. Class 4 laser therapy is described by the clinic as FDA-cleared. Shockwave therapy has been offered in the Brownsburg and West Indy area since 2018 and uses acoustic pressure waves for chronic muscle pain and tendon injuries.
Electromagnetic stimulation services include HIEMT, a core and postural muscle treatment that can also be applied to the legs and, less often, the shoulders and upper arms, and a pelvic floor treatment for mild to moderate stress, urge or mixed incontinence. Pelvic floor treatment is external, done fully clothed, with no internal examination or devices, and sessions last about 30 minutes. Laser nail treatment for thickened or discolored nails is billed in 15-minute increments and priced by consultation.
OT 4 ME provides pediatric occupational therapy for children and teens, covering school skills, everyday routines and building independence. The clinic also supports the therapy students receive within the Brownsburg and Pittsboro school systems. Insurance coverage is limited: the clinic accepts a few plans and submits claims to every insurer whether or not it is in network, though it is out of network with several major carriers.
