Hair removal here uses a paste of sugar, water and lemon, with no parabens or other chemicals. It goes on against the direction hair grows and is pulled off along that direction. According to the salon, the paste feels warm but never hot enough to burn. Permanent removal is not promised, though the salon notes that with regular sessions, hair tends to return finer and less often. The salon says the method suits sensitive skin, and that it works on any skin type, hair type or body shape.

Before a visit, hair should be about a quarter inch long for sugaring, and shavers need at least 12 to 14 days of growth. Clients should exfoliate 48 hours before the appointment rather than the same day, and arrive with clean skin free of lotions, oils or deodorant. Bikini services are for female anatomy only, and a tampon or menstrual cup must be used during the service. Clients come alone, and anyone feeling unwell is asked to reschedule.

Booking terms: cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are charged 50% of the service, and no-shows are charged the full price. Rescheduling needs notice to the esthetician within 24 hours. Late clients should let the esthetician know before their appointment time, since an appointment running into the next one may not be seen.

Uses a paraben-free sugar paste, applied against the grain and removed in the direction of growth.
