The salon is built around the idea that a haircut should be fun and memorable for a child. Its styling chairs are themed after vehicles, movies play during cuts, and the room has whimsical paintings, a wooden train table and a treasure chest that children can visit once their haircut is finished.

The salon describes its stylists as friendly and experienced with children of all ages. Clipper and shear cuts are available for all ages, and parents can book their own cut at the same salon.

Appointments are scheduled, so clients are asked to arrive before their time. A late arrival may be rescheduled, since taking one would push back every appointment after it. Walk-ins are welcome when there is availability. Bookings and cancellations are handled through the salon's app, and stylists sometimes run behind schedule. Hours are Monday to Friday 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM, with the phone number 973-298-0903.

Pricing starts with a Bang Trim at $18 and a Kid's Haircut at $32, or $39 with a child-safe shampoo. A Parent's Cut is $39. The First Haircut Package at $37 includes a keepsake certificate and a souvenir lock of hair. Themed Princess and Pirate packages are $37, and Fairy Hair at $21 and Up-do's / Styling at $28 may change after a consultation. The Ten Haircut Package gives ten cuts for the price of nine.

The salon's philosophy is that a haircut should be a positive experience for children, and it uses child-safe hair products.
