About

Pigtails & Crewcuts is a children's hair salon franchise that was created by parents. The salon describes itself as a kids' salon where children come first, and it aims to make the visit enjoyable for both parents and children.

A visit is designed around the child. Children sit in vehicle-themed styling chairs and can watch movies during their haircut. Afterward there is a treasure chest for children, and the space includes whimsical paintings and a wooden train table.

The menu covers haircuts for boys, girls, kids, moms and dads, along with a full head shave, donation haircuts, braids, blow outs, detangling, up-dos and fairy hair. The franchise description mentions a private party room for birthday celebrations.

Store hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The salon is closed on Sundays. Appointments can be booked online, and walk-ins are welcome for some services when there is availability.

The salon sells child-safe hair products along with a retail section of hair accessories and gifts.

The salon focuses on keeping the visit comfortable and fun for children, with parents included in the experience.

A playful, kid-focused setting with vehicle-themed chairs, movies during haircuts and whimsical decor.
