Doctors are chosen through a selection process and need several years of practical experience in aesthetic medicine and an interest in academia. All practitioners are either GMC-registered doctors or GDC-registered dentists, and staff are expected to keep training constantly as the field changes. PICO Academy, founded in August 2020, runs advanced training in cosmetic injectables and other aesthetic procedures; the business says it has trained over 500 doctors and treated more than 5000 patients.

The business says it works with global leaders in medical aesthetic technology and chooses treatments it considers safe and effective. Its dermal fillers are mostly hyaluronic acid products, and it uses the newest products it considers safest.

Online bookings require a $50 deposit that can be used toward any treatment and is converted to local currency at the visit. A full refund is given for cancellations made more than 24 hours ahead, while the deposit is kept for no-shows, late cancellations, and consultations not followed by a booked treatment.
