Every wax includes a consultation, and clients decide how much hair to leave. Brazilian waxes can be done with the client on their side instead of on all fours. Clients are asked to remove piercings near the area being waxed. Services are not performed on burned, irritated or otherwise unhealthy skin, and anyone who has taken accutane in the past six months needs a doctor's note before waxing. A customized skincare plan is recommended after each waxing service.
The regular menu covers bikini line waxes, full bikini waxes with a bare, landing strip or triangle option, and Brazilian waxes from front to back including the butt strip. Eyebrow waxing is recommended every two to three weeks with no tweezing in between. Men can book waxing, though the Manzilian, male bikini, Brazilian and full butt strip are not offered. Clients under 16 need parental consent for bikini waxing.
The specialty menu includes The Presidential bundle, which combines waxing, high frequency treatment and a hydrojelly mask. The salon says the bundles are exclusive to Secret Service Skin and describes them as giving the ultimate results. High frequency uses a handheld device that sends small electrical currents into the skin. The hydrojelly mask is a jelly-like, seaweed-based alginate applied in a thick layer and left on for about 15 minutes. Waxing is done with Mermaid Wax, which the salon describes as premium, and the salon says it tests new wax brands and techniques. Cactus quill removal by wax is not on the online booking menu; requests can be made by call, text or email. Hours are closed Sunday and Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10am to 3:30pm, Wednesday 1:30pm to 7pm, Thursday 12:30pm to 7pm, and Saturday 9am to 3:30pm.
