Hair suites are fitted out with a washing basin, a styling seat, a wheeled styling trolley, a dryer, a shampoo chair and a storage cabinet. Spa suites have a spa sink and a cabinet. Each suite also includes basic salon equipment to help a new business get started. Tenants may paint and personalize their suite and lay it out to suit how they work.
Tenants set their own services, pricing and schedules. They can sell retail products and keep the markup. Suites are rented on month-to-month agreements with no long-term lease, and tenants have 24/7 access. Utilities are included in the lease except phone service, and professional liability insurance is included as well.
